The death of the cheque and new ways to pay
Cheques have been available in the UK for 350 years, but are to be phased out by October 2018 by the Payments Council, in a move that will save the banking industry nearly £600 million a year.
Cheques have fallen out of favour in recent years, with use of the traditional payment method declining by 40% since 2004. Many leading retailers have also stopped accepting cheques as credit and debit cards have grown in popularity.
Whether you are an individual or a business, you need to have a think about how you will replace your use of cheques in future.

VAT Changes – getting ready for 1 January 2010

Keytime Payroll receives honourable mention at the 2009 Software Satisfaction Awards
This years Software Satisfaction Awards proved to be a success for SaaS suppliers, however Keytime Payroll managed to garner itself an honourable mention in the Payroll software category, beating out larger and more established names.

New business regulations for October 2009 – are you ready?
